As the current COVID-19 health crisis grips the world, we are here to reassure you that Rug Emporium will support you anyway we can.
We consider the health and safety of our team, partners and communities, as our highest priority.
We are all together in these tough times and stand by you in all your needs.
We are taking all necessary precautions in business terms to ensure the protection of our staff, customers, partners and the wider community by following the recommendations of the state and federal governments, as well as the medical community regarding our workflow.
Where possible our team members are now working remotely and our partner warehouses have assured us they are complying with all required regulations.
For the most part, however things are operating as usual and we will continue this until required to change operations further to protect our staff and partners during these troubling times.
There will however be some changes to the way our delivery partner will be carrying out the delivery process to protect themselves as well as the community in general.
The biggest change will be that no signatures will be collected. As default we have always delivered with ATL (Authority to leave) however signatures will not be collected even if requested until further notice.
For the foreseeable future all deliveries will be made using the following process:
- The parcel will be delivered onto the doorstop (or reception if a commercial address)
- A photograph of the parcel and front of property will be taken.
- If no safe place is available, the delivery will be returned to depot and a re-delivery arranged for another day
