At Rug Emporium, we're proud to offer free shipping to most areas across Australia on all orders. Your order will be processed and dispatched within 1-3 business days, ensuring you can enjoy your new rug swiftly!

Shipping Limitations

  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes, Parcel Collect, or outside of Australia.
  • Deliveries are made to the ground floor only.
  • We do not deliver on weekends and cannot specify a specific time or day for delivery.

Outside Free Delivery Areas 

While we offer free shipping to most areas across Australia, there are certain areas that may require additional shipping fees. We always try to offer free shipping however, if we are unable to find an option for free shipping and your location requires an extra fee, we will contact you with a shipping quote before processing your order. You can then choose to accept the additional shipping fee or cancel the order for a full refund.

Bulky Items & Additional Fees

We strive to offer free shipping on most of our products. However, certain bulky items, such as extra-large and oversized rugs, may require additional shipping fees due to their size and weight. If an extra fee is required for your order, we will contact you with a shipping quote before processing. As always, you have the option to accept the additional shipping fee or cancel the order.

Authority to Leave

All orders will be delivered with "Authority to Leave" (ATL), meaning they will be left at your front door or a similar secure location if you are not home at the time of delivery.

Cancelling Orders

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Generally, if the order is cancelled before the delivery has been booked, there should be no fees. However, if the courier has already been booked or the item is in transit, cancellation fees may apply. We will liaise with the courier to confirm any fees and inform you accordingly.

100% Delivery Guarantee

All our rugs come with a delivery guarantee. If an item is lost during transit, you are eligible for a replacement at no cost to you. If your delivery is outside the expected timeframe, simply contact us. We will investigate the issue and, once resolved, organise a replacement within 3 business days.

Return Shipping Fee's

We understand that sometimes things don't work out. To make returns smoother for you, we have a small 10% restocking fee. And don't worry about the hassle of shipping it back; if you prefer, we can handle the return shipping at a friendly discounted rate. We're here to make things easy for you!

To ensure your complete satisfaction, please remember these key points:

  • Rug Condition: For returns to be accepted, your rug should be in its original packaging, unused, and in the same condition as when it was delivered. Please handle it with care to maintain its pristine condition.
  • Transit Damage: We understand that accidents can happen during transit. Any damage to the rug that occurs while it's on its way back to us may prevent us from processing a return or refund. We recommend securely packaging the rug to minimise this risk.
  • Customer Responsibility: It's important to note that the rug remains your responsibility until it has been received and inspected by our team. Please ensure it's properly packed for shipping, and keep any tracking information handy for your reference.

To initiate a return, simply contact us for a return authorisation. We'll then provide you with the return shipping address or a quote for the return shipping fee, whichever suits you best. Remember, the rug is your responsibility until it reaches our warehouse, so pack it securely.
